The competition was played in a very sporting but competitive manner and great
credit to all the players. In the 1st semi final very high scoring early on by
Ann Marie Wright backed up by Mona Nation, not quite enough to stop Mo & Jan
Williams reaching their 2nd successive Doubles Final. In the other semi final,
last years Champions Maria Atkins & Joanne Curtis lost to some great darts by
Dil Walters and also some important doubles hit by Emma Williams. In a very
hard fought final, sisters Mo & Janet had to settle for the runners up spot
again. Congratulations to Dil & Emma for being worthy winners. Dil played some
superb darts at times. Emma has managed to beat her mother Mo in the Singles
and the doubles competitions and finish a great 1st season for her
